Christmas!!!
Of course we have a whole bunch of pictures to share from Christmas. Clay's work shift landed on Christmas Day so we celebrated a day early. We had a nice Christmas Eve on December 23rd. Trevor opened up two presents and set out cookies and milk for santa (and carrots for the reindeer). Then on December 24th we had our Christmas Day. Trevor woke up to find he cookies, milk and carrots gone and wanted to dig right into his presents. He definitely got into Christmas this year. We had a nice breakfast and dinner (Clay made pot roast and a whole bunch of other delicious food!) Then we went to the 4pm Christmas Eve service at our church. The next day, Clay went to work, and Trevor and I drove the 2 hours to my parents house where Trevor got to open more presents and play with his cousins! It was kind of nice driving on Christmas morning...we didn't really come across too much traffic! We came back home on Wednesday, unpacked and packed again, and left on Thursday to drive to Wisconsin to visit with Clay's parents. Trevor got to open more presents and he also got to play in the snow and go sledding! We drove back home on Sunday and all I want to do for awhile is STAY HOME!!!
This is probably my favorite picture of Trevor this Christmas...this is the best reaction we got from all of the presents he opened. He got a new "goggy" (blanket). He started becoming attached to his first goggy when he was around 1. It really needed to be replaced and we found the exact same blanket so we bought another one. He LOVED it!
So proud of new goggy.
We unwrap goggy and the first thing Trevor does is find "Wicky" (the red tag) and puts it in his mouth. I had to cut Wicky off of his first Goggy because it was hanging on by a thread and I didn't want him to eat it. So, this was a reunion with Wicky. :)
And of course, he opened his new Christmas pajamas. They have a picture of a moose on them but he is certain it's a donkey.
Setting out the milk and cookies. He was very particular about how many he wanted to put out. He also only wanted to put out 2 carrots for 2 of the reindeer.
Christmas Morning! The first thing he did was check the plate with the cookies and milk. He was so amazed they were eaten. He said, "Santa ate cookies. Santa drank milk down. Reindeer eat carrots...". He just sat there amazed for a few moments...then he saw all the presents. First was his stocking.
