My Poor Neglected Blog

Ugh...I know. No excuses from me! Just living life! Want to see some cute pictures though? Here we go...

We had lots of fun playing in the snow this winter but we're kind of glad that we can see the green grass now!

Clara likes to raid the shoe closet. Here she is modeling some of my heels. At least someone is wearing them.

This was the other day when they were stalling before naptime. Both were pleading to have nap together in Trevor's bed. It didn't work.

Happy to be outside in the snow!

So pretty in her winter hat!

What?! He has to get some exercise somehow, doesn't he?

Snow angels. Clara was very confused about it.

All bundled up! Clara could barely walk!

Sweetness...

A little hard to do with snow boots on but they got it going!

Ice skating for the first time! Trevor LOVED it (and has been back since). Clara...not so much.

Clara's working on her muscle tone a little here.

All ready for our first springish walk around the neighborhood of the year!

This is our old computer. And by old, I mean old. Clay got this laptop his freshman year of college (if he remembers correctly). This is all we've ever had. It was sooooo sloooooowww. A lot of things we tried to do on it, we couldn't because it couldn't handle downloading new programs. Then it just started acting up on a whole new level. So, while it still "worked" it was time for an upgrade. So, we saved. And we saved. We researched (ok, clay did). We went to Best Buy. We picked the one we wanted and told the nice man who was helping us we wanted it. The nice man began to tell us about financing options, blah, blah, blah.... We said, "No, thanks. We have cash." And we did. It was a very proud moment for us. The confused look on the nice man's face was an added bonus! ;)

Here is what we bought! It's nothing incredibly fancy but it's new!! It's the first flat screen anything we have. We couldn't believe all the stuff we were missing out on on our old computer. It was well worth the wait.

Ok, time to scroll down and mute my music!

Clara picked up counting (or reciting numbers at least) really quickly. Colors, however, are another story. She's getting there though. ;) I love the part where she accidentally whacks herself with the swiffer handle and she starts over.

Somehow, Trevor has learned to add numbers in his head. This is one of his favorite activities to do in the car. I think we've done all the different number combinations that add up to ten or less so we moved on to bigger numbers. I asked him how he does it in his head and he started talking about slippers and rabbits. He truly enjoys it, though. :)
