Our Summer of Fun!!

It has been one interesting and fun Summer around here!! Every year the hot months that I used to despise (Ok, I still do on occasion), have become so much fun all because of Trevor and Clara. A two and a four year old are great company to do all the fun summer stuff with, like hit the pool, parks, zoo, picnics, baseball games....you name it!! So, in no particular order, here is our summer!!!

We comforted Daddy after his knee surgery (and then had him around all summer),

had smores for the very first time (and had a great time with friends, too)
had swim lessons and learned to jump with no fear into the pool,

played with friends during big brother's t ball practice,

rode a purple dinosaur with cousins,

had fun at the baseball stadium with more cousins,

flew an airplane,

shared snacks,

fed the geese (and also got chased...no pictures of that),

hit the ball and ran to first in a t-ball game,

graciously accepted tickets to a Brewers game for a family reunion,

color wondered snow white at the ballgame,

dressed up like Daddy,

rode the zoo train,

explored a really big log,

followed bark down a stream,

said hello to a very colorful turtle,

played in the sprinklers,

smelled some pretty yellow flowers in a pretty summer dress,

explored a new park,

got hugs from friends,

wore giant sunglasses on the zoo train,

rode bikes around the neighborhood,

played "store" with a friend,

said hello to a much "calmer" turtle,

dreamed of being a nascar driver and crew chief,

ran and rode bikes in a fun biathalon,

And got a cool medal, a t shirt, and fruit snacks,

ran in the fun run in our town (Clara's first one ever),

ran so fast in sandles,

and got cookies and juice afterwards, and trophies,

became airplanes,

cheered for big brother at t ball practices,

ate ice cream cones in the backyard in 98 degree heat,

took Clara's beloved turtle to meet some family members,

played endless hours of soccer in our backyard

became butterflies,

had fun with bubbles,

learned to swing without help,

took rides on our very own "train",

played T-Ball with a best buddy,

by pure luck saw (and drooled over)Matt Kenseth's show car in a parking lot,

caught a minor league baseball game,

visited the zoo with friends,

played in the sand box,

and played endless hours of baseball in the backyard,

We had lazy pajama days in the middle of the week, we had busy days with both t-ball and swim lessons, we discovered new places, we made memories with family members, and we all around had fun!
