Trevor had an appointment with his allergist at 8:30 this morning. I drove the hour over there with both kids and then stayed for two hours in the tiny room while Trevor got skin pricked on his back and arm. This time it was just for egg whites, egg yolks, and the flu vaccinne. His reaction to the egg were both the same, a 4++, which is the worst. They skin pricked 1/1000th of the flu vaccinne into his arm and it bubbled up. He actually reacted worse this year than last year when we did this. How could it be getting worse?! :( So, they didn't want to go any further with the vaccinne since it could be potentially life threatening for him.
His allergist was really surprised that he had a reaction to the flu vaccinne. He said he could honestly tell me that Trevor is only one of two people in at least the last five years that has had a reaction to the vaccinne while being allergic to eggs. :(
Trevor did amazing at the office. He tollerates everything so well. He has always had a really high pain tollerance so that makes it a little easier doing these tests. The nurse even gave him five suckers for behaving so well.
So, I think we'll be making some more of our delicious homemade wheat-egg-peanut free soybutter cookies this afternoon. We don't need any stinkin eggs, wheat or peanuts to have a good time! :)

Trevor, you have a great Mommy. She's right... you don't need eggs. Jack says they're gross, anyway.
